My friend and I did the open water and advanced courses with Ian and Nico and had a phenomenal experience diving around the Catalina's. We managed to swim with humpback whales and a giant manta all in the same day which was mind-blowing! A very experienced and friendly team, would highly recommend!
Had a lot of fun. I dived with Fernando and he was a really cool dive guide. Great team. We saw mantas, sharks, angel fish, puffers...
Amazing experience!!!! Communication was incredible. Friendly staff who went out of their way for me and my daughter on short notice. Mariano was patient and very skilled! We had a blast and saw so many beautiful creatures to include giant eels, octopus, and white tip shark along with their baby. Incredible day and in between dives we were welcomed with fresh pineapple and a sweet along with water and tea. Highly recommend this place for all your water adventure needs!!!
Mariano was a fantastic instructor! You can tell that he is truly passionate about scuba diving. He was also very helpful and explained everything thoroughly before diving.
As soon as we arrived in Tamarindo, we looked for a company to do diving with. The two guys who attended us and informed us were wonderful and gave us a lot of peace of mind. The day arrived and we can only thank Mariano, our instructor. Thanks to him, we have been able to enjoy another new experience in this beautiful country. Have a nice day✌️ PURA VIDA

Had a wonderful experience completing my open water certification with Be Water Diving! Nico and Mariano made me feel so comfortable and confident diving and did a great job pointing out cool wildlife (and capturing it on video!). They went above and beyond and even introduced me to some great new restaurants in the area 🙂 can't wait to come back!!
I got my open water and advanced open water with Fernando! It was an amazing experience and I fell in love with diving even though it was a big fear of mine. Fernando was very patient and taught us absolutely everything we needed to know to be prepared. It's not the easiest to teach me something; I learn differently compared to my peers. Fernando was very very patient with me and taught me in a way that was helpful to my learning style without me feeling embarrassed in the group. I really appreciate it. Another thing, I appreciated was the small size of the group. It made me feel comfortable. There was three of us and Fernando. So I felt safe doing this activity that I used to fear. Nico also took the time to pick me up from my hotel gate since it was on the way to the beach. It was so incredibly nice and helpful. You can most definitely trust them and you will have a blast diving with them!

Well knowledged, very easy going person !I did diving cos I decided to trust Nico and never regret ! To Trust your instructor means a lot!Capitan was great too ! He prepared some fruit snacks and drinks !I definitely recommend this place for all activities they provide! Amazing people - great experience!
What an experience! Nico was our guide and he was phenomenal from start to finish. 2 of us were inexperienced and without certification but his instruction put us at ease and was extremely thorough. The dive spots were active with TONS of marine life…we even swam with a sea turtle! An overall EPIC experience and our favorite adventure in CR! A MUST BOOK!!
Wow!We did the discover diving tour.None of us have ever dived before.Nico is such an interesting and patient person. I highly recommend this dive shop. His passion for diving shines through.The captain he works with is also a gem.Nico ensured everyone was safe and felt as safe as possible!.We also got to travel along side a pod of dolphins, what a beautiful day.Pura Vida
Nico and his crew run a great operation!. They communicate well, are very safe and very kind. I would highly recommend Be Water Diving for anyone. The dives were great. We saw turtles, sharks, devil rays and a HUGE manta ray. Plus tons of fish. We have dived with many shops and this is an excellent one!
This outfit is like diving with valet level service. They do everything with the equipment, you just get on the boat and dive. Andre was out dive guide, he was the perfect amount of chill and information, he was very easy to dive with and took care of everything. If you’re in tamarindo and want to dive, look no further and go with Be Water Diving… and their tshirts are pretty sweet too 🙂
By far the best experience we have had here and Tamarindo. Nico is very professional, attentive ,patient and thorough. Mariano is an incredible instructor as well and also is very thorough and knowledgeable, as well as attentive and kind. My kids both took the course with me and these guys made the process very enjoyable.I am definitely coming back next year to do the advanced course and perhaps even more. I highly recommend to anyone considering either resort diving for fun or getting certified through these guys. It doesn’t get any better than this.!
Nico and his crew were amazing, had 2 great dives in a private dive setting and it was perfect! They brought along an extra guide to hang and snorkel with the kids and Michael was amazing as well.
This company is awesome! Nico and his team were super friendly and fun to hangout with. All of the equipment were well maintained and they made sure we were comfortable and answered any questions we had. We were first time divers and were quite nervous but they made sure we were all good. They have maximum 3 people an instructor which was a relief as we had a group of 4 and 2 instructors with us who could guide us easily. They also to make sure to take pictures of us and sent them to us for no extra cost so that we can keep these precious memories! Highly recommend if you are in Tamarindo!
We have a great time during the discovery dive with Be water! Our guide Mariano took the time to go over everything and make sure we are feeling comfortable before and during the dive. We had a blast and saw a lot of cool wild life - sharks, eels, octopi, schools of fish! The whole Be water crew was helpful, attentive and fun, they made sure we are having a good time and feel safe.
